Emissions Test - EGR Delete

Hey guys. I am scheduled for my first St of IL emissions test on my car.

2000 SVT Contour - 3L - Turbo - EGR Deleted

I have it tuned via Xcal2. The downstream O2's are turned off as well as the EGR and DPFE. I have no CELs.

Do you think I will be able to pass or are those deletions going to fail me?

yes you should pass no prob...they just plug you in and if you dont have a check engine light you are good.

Make sure you have not disconnected the battery or loaded a new tune in within 100 miles or so of the test.
The readiness checks will not have completed in the PCM and you would FAIL.

Actually you get rejected if your monitors haven't set themselves yet, not a fail...

I believe we finished setting it up so you can view the station parking lots before you go to the test, but being earlier in the month you should be good. I'm assuming you'll be going to our Addison station if you're in Villa Park, they're pretty fast there so you should be fine.

PASSED!

Went to the addison location. Two of my monitors said Not Ready on the results but I was still passed. EGR and EVAP.

The tune hasn't been flashed or battery disconnected in quite some time. At least 1000 miles of various driving conditions too. So, I am not sure why EVAP was Not Ready.
