I went to the toyota stealership today just to get a quote on the part, they said
378.29

wtf.

Stopped by NAPA, they quoted me 174.46

210 from the interweb. Though the only thing i've had to replace on my motor (84K miles so far) is a Camshaft Position and Crankshaft Position sensors.

If you absolutely want OEM try 1sttoyotaparts.com if not I'd try rockauto.com for remanufactured or if you want local hit up murrays and see what they have also. Do you have the 4 cylinder? you can probably hit up a junkyard and get a starter from a Camry or Celica. If you have the V6 you can grab one of a V6 Camry or Avalon, I think they share the same v6 as in the Solara.

well from the internet mine is about $140 for a Denso. Has not failed me yet though.
