possible cause for coolant leak...

I recently encountered a coolant leak that seems to be between the intake manifold, and cylinder head. At idle I can see it dripping beneath the thermostat, at any increase in throttle it squirts pretty good (mind out of gutter). I checked the oil for water and found nothing. The intake does not look cracked at least from a birds eye view. I'm thinking blown gasket.?.?

I will be busting it down next week so I would like to get some ideas, do's & dont's before I do work for the first time.. :clap:

I currently have a 302 Longblock form VT and all the original 00 GT plastic intake, etc.

I figured that may be the case... I will know for sure when I take it off.. Do you know what the tq. specs are for the intake manifold to cylinder head bolts??

not a clue. it has been some time since ive had to do that.
