Hey, I'm looking for a few kinds of shops (preferably in the NW suburbs).
1. Paint/Body - I know they're everywhere, but who is good in the area? We used to use Gerber in Crystal Lake, but they did a shit job on one of cars, so I really don't want to take the stang there.
2. Powdercoating - No idea who does this. And ballpark price on getting a set of valve cover powdered? Again, no idea.
3. Wheel stripping/painting/refinishing - I have a 1990 Mark 7 that is prestine with 25k on the clock. Car looks like it should be in the showroom, except for the wheels. The clear coat on them cracked, water and crap got under, and they look terrible. I just want to get them redone though (they're nice aluminum BBS wheels, and I want to keep it stock).
Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.
