99' Cavalier - Heater Fan Issue

G/F has a 99' Cavalier with 160k on the clock. Last night we drove her car to her house and everything was fine. The fans were working fine blowing heat. This morning we got in her car and went to turn the heat on and the fans didn't come on. Possible blown fuse? Any help appreciated!

I was also told it may be a relay on the blower motor? Before it went out completely only fan settings that worked were 3/4. 1 and 2 did nothing.

Sounds like the blower motor resistor to me, as long as the heat and ac dont work at certain settings. You can pick a OEM up for $25 off ebay and its real easy swap under the the p/s glovebox.

usualy replace the resistor and blower motor at the same time

Agreed, the Motor usually draws too many amps through the resistor, and burns them up.

Also seen water get in on the Cavaliers and lock the motors up tight when the water freezes...
