Brake Problem (Dash Brake Light)

So I was driving home today. I came to a stop sign in which I had to stop pretty quickly and I noticed when I hit the brakes my brake light came on on the dash. For a minute I thought I left the parking brake on but it was off. Now whenever I press the brake pedal hard it comes on. I don't feel a loss in braking power? Am I loosing brake fluid or could the sensor be bad? Maybe the parking brake is going on?

your brake fluid might be slightly low
even at the level indicated as max I would get the brake light to come on when hard braking on track
if you keep it above the MAX line it should solve that problem
the brake light is linked both to your ebrake sensor and brake fluid level sensor.

I hope thats all it is. I'll check the brake fluid level tomorrow morning and top it off if need be. But yeah under normal braking conditions its fine. But If I really push the pedal down to stop quickly it flickers on/off.

And if you put too much in, it leaks out the top. The trick is to find a happy medium.
