Spare belt. What tools to carry?

I got a spare belt for the Cobra that I intend to carry in the trunk, just in case.

What would be some good tools to carry along so I can change the belt on-the-fly in case of belt breakage. Something small, light and simple would be preferable.

If you have a stock tensioner, don't you only need a long-armed ratchet to fit the tensioner that allows it to be loosened?

yep, 1/2" maybe a cheater pipe too though

yep I carry a 1/2 ratchet @ all times and a braker bar for tires just in case.

And I even do it with my DD

1/2 ratchet and a small section of pipe to use as extension. 5 minute swap

I'm trying to keep the weight down and don't want to give up that extra 0.00001 mpg.

maybe but I bet it breaks. You can do it with just the socket. Makes it a little more of a pain in the ass. My extension is a small hard aluminum tube. 1 foot long and the handle of the 1/2 in socket fits perfectly into it. I think a pack of smokes is heavier.

I don't use an extention on the ratchet, just the ratchet and that's it.

You may want to throw a rag with it to clean all the crap off your hands before you get back in your car :biggthump
