Viper alarm system programming?

Hey I bought my car off this site and I don't know if he still goes on here but it is a Sonic blue 2003 COBRA SVT, from lemont? Well anyways I have a Viper alarm system with the remote and i believe ever since i changed the battery in the remote it wont engage with the alarm system so basically i need to know how to reprogram it and crap

on something like that you need a alarm tech to look at it....could be something simple or very complicated....I would first ask the seller of the vehicle directly....

Changing the battery should not have any affect on the alarm. Did it previouly work? You can call directed and they should be able to guide you in getting it reset 1-800-753-0600. Otherwise you could take it to a Best Buy/Circuit City and have them take a look at it. If the original owner knows who did the install they should take care of fixing it for you for free.
