Wtf!

So before I go to work today I wanted to start the cobra and all i get is a starter spinning.

it's not a dead battery because I can hear the starter spin and spool down, and I threw the battery on a charger for about 30 min and it did the same thing!

How hard is taking the starter out on this car?

Dude chill, these cars do NOT have a reputation for difficulties, it's probably no different than any other starter, MAYBE a 1/2 an hour tops.

not a stupid question. you paid 30,000 for the car, starter goes bad a few days later along with wheel stud.

ok well call the dealer and talk to them you bought the car a few days ago. its the starter, not like the motor blew up.

Verify you are getting fuel, spark and air... may sound silly but check to make sure your filter did not fall off the. Report back please...

Also check to make sure that the emergency fuel switch was not activated cutting off fuel.

the motor is not turning I watched the belt not move while I cranked the starter, and I can hear the fuel pump turn on to build pressure.

At the end of the day if your starter is spinning and it's not cranking... it's obviosuly the starter or solenoid.

I am not sure how our's are, but for example on the trooper I the solenoid is on the starter so I just replaced the whole thing.

The starter isnt hard to change on our cars. there is one bolt however that can be a pain (so i have heard, but i didnt have a problem with it) make sure you have lots of extensions

also a fellow member on here Kevin (RD SNAKE) posted a repair manual for the terminators and you can easily look up the how to on replacing it in there

noo remember it was the starter cables, his wasnt even crankin over
