Beeping noise

hmmm When driving the car it's a 2000 stang...I hear a beeping noise it has no real pattern sometimes it beeps longer than other times does anyone know what is causing this because it if really pissin me off

Do you have any idea where it is coming from? Under the dash? A few trucks at my previous job had issues with the airbag system and would beep quite often due to it. Check to see if the airbag light bulb is burned out. The airbag module will make the cluster beep if the bulb doesn't work. Turn the key on and see if the light comes on or not.

It has to do with your airbag system. I had a 1995 V6 that did it.

Press and hold the trip meter button while starting the car and continue to hold until the cluster goes into test mode. then just keep hitting the button to cycle through the different parameters, see if any codes popped up.

My 00 does the exact same thing...but only a about 1 out of every 20 times I drive it. I just deal with it.
