window tint removal on rear window

I need to get my tints redone but my guys charges a bit extra to remove all the old tints and re tint it again.

Pulling the tint off the side windows is no problem but what about the rear window with the defroster grid. Anyone ever try it?

its a really huge pain to do the back window without potentially messing up ur defroster, i began to try it and gave up and paid the tinter the extra cash when i needed my tints redone...its not worth the hassle in my mind

+1, I feeled off my tint in the beginning of the winter and all of the glue is still on the window. Hopefully in 2 or 3 weeks my windows will get redone.
