My DD is a 1998 Ranger (3.0 l. V6) I just had the cam synchronizer sensor replaced because of a terrible squeeking noise (it fixed that) but now I have a bad OIL LEAK coming from the back of the engine. That sensor is located at the back of the engine. What do you guys think? Did they break something while changing that sensor? Coincidence?

Obviously, I made an apointment to bring the truck back in!

Thanks

If anyone cares, It was the o-ring on that sensor causing the leak! Just got it fixed and I didn't have to pay anything, obviously!

Its still dripping a little bit :( but not nearly as bad!

I'm gonna keep bringing it back until they fix it right  Stupid shop in Indiana.......
