no no no mikey - they swapped a dodge avenger head on it - it flips the intake/exhaust side - so now its like a honda - much more room for a bigger turbo

and the intercooler piping is 3.5" or 4" or something rediculas - its automatic and runs 9.45 @154mph in the 1/4

Does the Avenger head flow anywhere near as well as the stock SRT head? or is there Extensive work done to it to make it work well?

and they say the heads are fairly close in flow and pretty much everything else - the only problem they had was the oil return from the head to the block didnt quite match...but they didnt say what fixed it - but it must work

you're just jealous sean...its intercooler piping is bigger then your exhaust

03+ 2.4 blocks had a different oil drain back port than previous years. So if you're building a car like that, you're using different management than stock anyway, so just use an 02 2.4 block, and everything matches up. The only thing you lose is the oil squirters under the pistons. And for only 1/4 mile at a time, they are pretty much useless anyway. And road racers can't put that much power to use anyway so it's a non-issue.

I know a guy up in west bend, WI doing something similar with a GT35r in a 1st gen with a 2.4 and 420a head. There's really not much point seeing as there's plenty of room back there for a huge snail, but it looks neat.
