Sorry but there is realy no way to check to see what the MAF is calibrated to. The only chance is if you have a older Pro M and sometimes you can look inside to look at the color of the sample tube(The tube inside the meter).

As for the timing as long as you have a timing light you can go ahead and check the timing. If you have any questions on how exactly you need to go about checking timing give me a call or PM me.

i know how to check timing but this car is a swap and i dont know what the stock base timing because its not printed on the hood

If your Maf dont match your injectors your car will run like dawg shit! If it runs ok then it most likley is matched imo.

heres the thing i just ran it then unplugged the maf and helped it stay running until it was bypassed by the computer and it seems like it has a huge cam could the computer be compensating for this cam?

That would tell me that most likely it's not calibrated for your injectors...

So the timing is at 30 degrees BTDC and the maf reading is double what it should be but i left a vacum plug off anf it runs alot better

Did you pull out the spout connector? You can't set timing with it in, at least not on my 91 5.0 Tbird.

spout is out and vacum plug is out and it runs good with the timing all jacked up

I doubt it, youre better off just getting one for your application to match the injectors.
