To those who swapped trannys in there GTPS and put 3.29s in

I ordered a transmission since my stock differentials pin took a dive out of the diff and tore the hub up and dumped out basically all the tranny oil out of it and i was between work and home when all the oil dumped so i drove it home. Stupid me. And i fear internal damage might be done even though there wasnt any debris in the oil. It was almost black.

Stuff breaks, o well.

Anyways I am asking anyone who currently owns or has owned a grand prix and had there trans swapped and had bigger gears put in it, what should be or needs to be changed in the bin file to make the car run efficently?

I know the gear ratio option needs to be changed, but i was reading else where and I seen other things need to be changed also.

So I am asking what exactly needs to be changed with the powertuner and what it should be changed to.

I think you change something in the pulses per mile. Not sure. Ron Vogel would be the one to ask.

That was one thing to change was the pules per mile.

Hopefully Ron swings through this thread and see this, if not i will send him a message sometime tonight.
