Clutch Problem PLEASE READ!!!

Okay so today i broke my 5th clutch cable I am fkin PISSED OFF!!!

I already replaced my clutch.........What can be causing my clutch to be sooooo stiff? Usually when its cold outside?

Im gonna get the heavy duty steeda cable, and a new ford racing fork because some idiot at universal transmission fucked up mine. Im also gonna get a new throwout bearing n a new pivot ball.

If you have been using aftermarket cables, switch back to Ford cables. They are the best available for these cars.
Check the routing of the cable. An improperly routed cable can bind up.

Does the pedal assembly move freely without the cable attached?
Is the quadrant aligned properly?

just switch to a stock for one, all aftermarket ones do is give u headaches...

It was aligned properly but the problem is that I broke stock one before, my clutch is extremely STIFF!!

If everything else moves freely, and all the correct parts were installed and you are saying the pressure plate takes an extreme amount of effort to release the clutch then there may be internal problems in the pressure plate.
No clutch should be that difficult to release.
I would still use a stock cable because they outlast any of the aftermarket ones.

i had the same problem with my cable.snapped 2 stock ones and one aftermarket after installing a spec 2 clutch and pressure plate.i had the upr clutch adjuster and quadrant and didn't help.the quadrant kept cutting thru the cable.

i went to a stock cable and a fiore quadrant and adjuster.make sure the quadrant is centered on the mounting shaft.so far it's been holding.

Tranny will be out tomorrow, I will be replacing the fork, throwout bearing, pivot ball n the broken cable. I will also take a look at the clutch n we will see if im gonna be able to solve the problem.

Replace fork throwout bearing, cable, n trans fluid the fkin car drives like a dream, n clutch is not stiff no more!! :clap:
