HID Install - Where to Mount Ballasts?

    I just purchased an HID kit brand new from the classifieds on another forum. It is a Vision Bulbs kit, I know many of you on this site have this kit on your cars from the group purchases. I am still waiting for my kit to get here but thought I would ask where you guys mounted your ballasts in the meantime, as well as any tips on the install I should follow?

    Thanks for the help! I have a 99-01' Cobra front bumper on my car....

    (Also does anyone have any pics of the 6K Vision Bulbs KIT in action, and how does it look with your stock fogs - I have Silverstars).

    i prefer to put the ballasts right on the hood- possibly in front of the scoop.

    and heres a pic of 6k HIDs.

    Thanks for the help! I also read your quick install walkthrough in the group buy thread. Got the HID's in and working perfectly, the 6000K kit looks great!
