-My dad took me with to this autobody today, its well off the beaten path, and the two guys do bunches of work. anyways, they are into open road racing, the kind of shit where you go balls to the wall down public roads for 90 miles... and this is their new creation... its built entirely by them from the ground up except for some things like the 950 hp hemi, the brembo brakes, or the nascar rear end, and is purely amazing to see. The smallest things such as the serpentine system, bellhousing adapter, exhaust, motor mounts, entire frame, are completely built from scratch, the headers are made in house, every bend every weld, by hand... equal length stepped headers... the guy built a 68 charger before and it avgd around 210 mph for the race... this is their new car, and they want it to have a top speed around 275 mph. It will be modeled after a 69 charger, without one piece of an actual charger. All body panels are made by hand, the doors are carbon fiber pieces, that weigh 3 pounds, they are aiming for 50/50 front rear dist, and 50/50 side to side dist. The guy talked to me for about an hour, but i dont want to bore you anymore, so here are the pics.
