Power House Amuse, well known for their “Phantom” R35 GT-R and their relentless time attacks at Tsukuba have bested Mine’s previous best time of 59″367 to post a 59″061! According to our source the Amuse GT-R is making over 600ps at the hubs on a Dynapack dyno now with exhaust, ROM tune (Power House Amuse Hi-tech ROM) and more boost.

the only time i'm seeing for the RR so far is 1:06:68......so over a minute > 59 seconds?

edit: found this time as well: 1:00.600

however, mugen's official website has a video of the car lapping Tsukuba circuit in 1:06:68...so who knows

i actually thought it ran close to the 1 minute flat mark

i thought it was 1.00.6 as well, but its just kinda embarrasing for the GTR that a fricin 4 door honda civic can hang that well

for the RR, I saw the 1 minute time only at superstreet, but the 1:06 time at autoblog, windingroad and Mugen's site. Don't know who rung 1:00 out of the RR, but superstreet time may have been a typo.

yea, they are the only ones to show a minute flat....all the "type r" iterations have been great handling cars but i cant imagine it runs almost less than a second slower than a GT-R....even w/ the huge weight advantage

you have to keep in mind tsukuba is a pretty tight track with few long straightaways... the godlike handling of the RR puts it at an extreme advantage even with its 240 max HP.

on a side note, i want the amuse exhaust for my S... to bad its $4200 for just the catback!
