Rim Experts in Here - Ford GT Rim Question

Hey guys,

We are trying to get a drag radial for Ryan's Ford GT but they do not make them in a 19". I am thinking he could get a set of front FGT rims that are 18x9 and mount them in the back with a 18" drag radial. I know nothing about rims so let me know if you think this would work.

FGT Front Info:
M-1007-GTF*

Optional forged front wheel available on 2005 Ford GT

Open lug design

5-lug, 4.5" bolt circle

6.90" backspacing

18"x9" wide

FGT rear info:
M-1007-GTR*

Optional rear wheel available on 2005 Ford GT

Open lug design

Sorry, not a lot of Ford GTs around here.

Why not just try putting one of the front rims on the back and see if it will fit.

Jeff, Changing the rear wheel to a 18 from a 19, will effect ABS actavation time, and speed on the speedometer, assuming you could get a 18 to fit, I remember looking at the brake rotor, the damn things are HUGE, I don't even think you could get a 18 on there, The best thing to save the headache would be to run a really nice summer time, I used to run Firestone Firehawk's, when I get them hot enough, they stick just like a nitto.
