B Piller Painting

(Wasn't sure where to post this so I choose here)


Well I have an 02 T Top Camaro and the black B piller behind the door is bubbling up and cracking (heard this is common in most Fbody's?)

anyways I was thinking about painting it NBM like the rest of the car, has this been done before? Or think that would be TO MUCH blue?

If someone has done it post some picture's if ya would.

too much blue. im not a fan of the v6s that have all the same body color. its a bit overkill

id agree too much blue...

maybe see if you can find a vinyl overlay (they make em for lots of cars on ebay...) and put it on and try it to see what it looks like before you paint.

Yeah, but I did some research on LS1tech and its a recall on 99-02's, so I might get it done for free

I thought recalls were only for safety-related defects. It's likely a TSB.

oh really...... mines got bubbling look under the paint, you can see it. ill have to keep an eye on it

Looked into it today, are cars have a 6 year 80K body warrenty on them, and unless your is a late 02 you pay to pay out of pocket, and also Joe is right its a TSB

Looked into it today, are cars have a 6 year 80K body warrenty on them, and unless your is a late 02 you pay to pay out of pocket, and also Joe is right its a TSB

oh well, if something does happen, my neighbor owns body shop, not like its a big deal to get fixed for me.
