Motor break in? Vortec 4.3 V-6

Well I got the Blazer back and itz got a new Chevy 4.3 Vortec longblock thanks to the production crew for the movie.

How should I break it in, it only has about 300 miles on it now. I am thinking dump the oil after another 200-500 miles and thats about it. Anything else you guys think would be good to do?

no, seriously just give it an oil change @1000 miles and then be good to it and it should run for quite some time.

In the new reman. motors, did they attempt to solve the leaky gasket issue?

forged internals, ported and polished heads. typhoon/syclone turbo system (maybe an upgraded version?)
