What are the opinions on this stuff?

My dad swears it works and puts in a bottle in his cars everything he changes the oil. Im trying to run out the old gas I have in the cobra, back from November and he is telling me to dump a 1/2 bottle in before I fill up with new gas and get my tune. Any chance it would harm anything? Anyone on here use it on a regular basis?

Thanks!

I use Chevron Techron every year. Doesn't hurt and might help.

I use fuel injection cleaner (with EVERY) oil change, never had a fuel clog or fuel issue, and this has gone back to a time when I actually kept a car for a few years :biggthump

But I think it is a good perventative measure, and safe...YES! ;)

I put the first bottle in on the first fillup (even when bought new) :biggthump
and every oil change there after ;)

Most require you add the full bottle to a full tank,
only a handful of them are added to a near empty tank.

Just like Susie, I use fuel injection cleaner every oil change.
Lucas has a fuel cleaner, at AutoZone they have a small bottle
(small bottle one time use $3.99)
Big Bottle (several uses) $7.99

I bought the big bottle yesterday, as the Saturn got her oil change,
and I had to add it anyway, and the Escape will be do in another 1300 miles,
but I think this may actually be a better solution even :biggthump
