You got to have the short block with forged internals built by a pro. Call Sutton Ford...make time to talk to Randy and see just what yer thinking about. He loves this stuff.

It's all about YOUR value in the car and what YOU want it to be.......Because only you will enjoy it and don't ever expect to get the money back. Build it right, and you won't spend money on reapirs, cheat...and you will pay, a lot, that's for sure.

Understatement, I've had four hour car rides talking about one engine. He is more than glad to talk with people about working out ideas. He'll help you get a good sense of what realistic, what it will cost, and to make sure to lay a plan out to save on useless mods.

Leave the Mach 1 as is.

After a group of us building our share of GMs and Fords, here is a couple options that may save you heart ache and money in the long run.

1. Find a 5.0L Mustang that is already done right. Front to back, built and has the power adder (Turbo or Supercharger). ****this is the cheapest route****

2. Find a roller 5.0L Mustang and then put the car together they way you want it.
