are you kidding?? dont have to worry about emissions. first its from 84. second it had a rotary in it which has oil injected in it anyways so it puts out terrible amounts of pollution as is.


buy it and be done.

my buick passed with no issues waaay back when i got it. the guy couldnt even do the rpm test. i had to sit in the car and put it in gear because he couldnt figure out how to use a ratchet shifter.

I thought as of last year that all cars before 1996 were exempt from emissions testing. It was getting too expensive to run the dynos or something.

The emission law passed in 2006, All pre 1996 cars in most counties in northern IL are now exempt. I've owned my civic since mid 06, no emissions, same with my taurus and mark 7 and sunfire...

Nope LS motors are SBC that are WELL capable of BB power. Look @ the new LS7 its a 427 but still classified as a SBC, think about it and get back to me

Only if its the 304 powered Gremlin X. 150hp 0-60 in 7.5 secs and companies are finally making parts for the engines. So getting that 1/4 mile down would be cheap and easy.
