Wax on the rubber/plastic piece on front bumper

Well dumb ass me noticed the other day that in my great detail I managed to get carnuba on the piece that holds the fog lamps and the scrape guard underneath. Anybosy know what can take this off? Bug and tar remover work?

I have head some people say to use mothers back to black. Other than that, I dunno.

This is why I like the Meguiars NXT, no messy residue.

I can use cover up, but once wet with water and dry it will come up

That happened to me last June. It finally disappeared in December. Just takes alot of cycles to get it off.

This used to happen all the time when I waxed my ex-girlfriends '01 Escape. I would just dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and it would come right off, then wipe with a damp rag.

Alright yeah, I may not own a ford, but I've been looking into buying a mach 1 (I know, this is SVTs - but it's still chicago area performance freaks).

anyway, I was lookin through posts today and came across this one... so;

For future reference, hit up an art supply story, and buy one of those white drawing erasers. They work wonders on getting wax off plastic.

Carbasol will take wax off. You can get it at the hardware store. Use it with a toothbrush and wash with water afterwords. Use little as possible, its strong stuff.

I don't have time for cycles!!!! I guess I will try bug and tar and then see what happens...

try some armor all on a toothbrush :biggthump that will usually do the trick (circular motion)

or run over it with westleys bleach white and a brush but be quick to wash it off, so that you don't get a dull spot

or like the guys said (wait it out )
