Tapping sound from a 99 Firebird

I recorded it, but the video has no sound

Car had a rocker replaced Feb of last year, This spring its started making a fairly loud tapping sound while cold, and has some slight hesitation.

When the car warms up, the tapping goes away.

tapping goes up and down with revs, and SOUNDS like its coming from the top of the motor.

And Yes, its a 100% stock V-6 F-body.

Have you adjusted your rockers since then?

How many miles since the repair was performed?

Are you sure its a spring tick and not a lifter tick?

Its a friends car, he hasn't touched it since the repair was done last Feb.

I'm guessing probably 8-10K miles have been put on the car since the work was done, maybe less as he is at college, but brings his car home and back etc.

No idea what kinda Tick it is, Just sounds like its coming from the top of the engine
