Not sure. There are definitely up-armored ones but they're seriously just regular sheet metal constructed bodies with Kevlar armor plating. The majority of the HMMWV I've been around are your regular sheet metal Humvees with camo patterned vinyl doors and cargo areas.

I've drove and rode in H1's and at 6'4" I wouldn't own one; they're not very comfortable, not much room.

There is a survey company of some sort that works along I-57 and I-80 with a 2 door H1 with a bunch of tool boxes and equipment in the back. I have seen them several times just slowly driving down in the ditch in the median or on the sides of the highway doing god knows what
