What junkyards do you know of or like in the area?

One of my favorite ones is auto parts city in Waukegan.. second favorite is route 14 auto parts in woodstock.

U Pull It or City Auto in aurora, both aren't great but they are pretty much right down the street from me so I don't bother with anywhere else.

Its hard to go bone yard picking for 3800s. Ive been to 3 and they are usually all cleaned out. I assume most of it is from members of this very forum.

Not at the one I mentioned, they are usually all intact for a while.

route 14 auto parts in woodstock, roughly 3/4 of the GM CAR section is 3800s. I'd say 3/5 of the 3800s are L67's. HUGE selection. just not enough impalas. if I had a grand pricks, i'd be in heaven there.

pick n pull is ok. scored a few things there recently.

Enticed. There are never Regals at either Aurora yard mentioned.

I <3 junkyards. Went to route 14 autoparts yesterday for the first time in years. Needed a piece of glass and the window regulator for the burb. Found it all (crappy tinted window and everything) for $75 OTD.

Safelite quoted me $238 just for the glass...

when i worked at the used car dealer, they used BIONIC parts in the city.
