Muffler question

[92 V-tek FTW]

Hey all. New to the site. I did have a simple question though. My mufflers are sounding like shit on my 92 civic. I was told I need to replace them ASAP otherwise I wouldnt meet emissions standards and my car gets taken and I lose my license. Can anyone hook me up with a muffler?

Are you sure?? The guy that helps me do all the work to my car said I need to switch the muffler for emissions or my shit gets jacked. He has been working on cars for over 20 years so I would think he knows what he is talking about.

96 and older are now exempt from emmisions. look it up

Why would my guy tell me my shits gonna get jacked then?? I just dont want to lose this car. Its been everything to me. T4 turbo with a .67 AR hot side, all sorts of motor work done. Fuckers FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAST.

'Cause the law is new? It's 96 and older that are exempt, as stated above. Cut your muffler off for all they care, you don't need emissions.

He is helping me on the side. His real job is a Honda tech at a dealer. I was told no to a stock muffler cause my shit will turn into very little pieces......

go to honda tech. they will know. just get a muffler online. but you do not need one for emissions, u dont need emissions at all. your guy is wrong

let alone your car gettin ganked by the gov, because of the emissions.

so either a.) dont worry about it cuz its older than a 96. or b.) wait till you HAVE to go to your 'non existant' emissions and deal with it at a later date. hell go to the junk yard

no one on here sells mufflers....just do a google search for honda mufflers and you'll get a millions pages of people selling hem for sure.
