i went to check out this cherokee sport last night. test drive it and it drove fine, no grinding or noise in the gears. i want to buy the jeep but im little iffy about it. here's some flaws i saw. the back trunk door looks like it been repaint. i can see there's bondo cuz the paint are cracking where the bondo is. few scratches on the body, but nothing that im much worry about. what im more concern about is there's oil leaks from the valve covers and down the oil pan. he said it's small drop leaking, but from looking at it i think it's a lot. i saw 3 5 gallons of oil jugs in the trunk forget to ask his about that. he still owe money to the bank and if i do buy it im going to his bank and pay off what he owe and have the title send to me that's what the plan is. i would appreciate if someone from the area know this guy and can give me some feedback on the cherokee. he also mention he on the cherokee forum and that would help too if someone can find his post. thanks!
