Seems like your dealer is adding a mark-up to the parts. For example 199-420-98-20 has a MSRP of $21,190.00 according to parts.com. FYI, parts.com will sell you the rotor for $17,796.

There isn't a robot assembly line for cars like that, there's not enough of them made. I can't believe it's that much $ for a brake job, however for what a shit Merc costs in parts/labor, it's understandable.

BTW, a quick google search showed a full job including rotors is only $41,000. Even if that is true and it's not $90k, that's still STUPID insane.

And who the fuck pays cash!?!? Jeezus. :rofl:

There's no way even with the technology those rotors cost more than 1,500 bucks a piece to manuf. Pads are $1,600??? Good one. You can get a entire Baer brake or Brembo setup for as much as one set of pads.

90K? I would just trade in the car. For the replacing of brakes you can get a used Ferrari 360 Modena.
