Building Stereo for CJ7

In July I bought a project 1981 CJ7:

It had a radio from the factory, but since then one of the previous owners attempted to install a newer radio into it, but hacked up the wiring to the original speakers.

So for next year I want to install a new radio, and speakers, in the dash and between the roll bar and fender wells with these boxes:

I MAY also get a center console with a sub.

I have decent wiring skills, but have no idea how to build an audio system from scratch.

From the factory, the radio is run from a switched twelve volt source, and luckily, that is relatively unmolested.

So how can I make this happen?

There are, but they are usually nasty. Their tops are either missing or bad, so the interiors have been exposed to the weather so the audio systems are shot.

If cheap enough would be a correct set to follow with your own new set up.
I may have the diagrams for your whole system in my storage unit. I used to have a 1980 Jeep Honcho and bought some big old book.
