In defense of the numbers, this was on an Engine Dyno, so Whp would have been far FAR lower.
Even considering a 25% drivetrain loss they're still making 900-ish hp to the wheels.
Engine dynos take measurements by placing loads on the engine.
Either way, they estimated at those power levels the block would be good for one season racing. They put 60+ dyno runs on it at 1,000+ hp.
I had a 4.8 in my truck but opted for the 6.0 for torque reasons. Imagine 26psi on a 6.0 :naughty:
