Dodge Mirada, Learn me?

I'm sure many people have noticed I have an odd fascination with sub-par cars, and one of these popped up for sale down the block from my home. Mint and Triple black.

Anyone ever driven/own one of these things? I pulled up the wiki and it gave me some history, but I kinda like the way it looks for a potentially 318/360 powered RWD coupe that's emissions exempt. How horrid are they?

Body lines dont look to bad. The front looks good. I'm sure you could easily build a mild 360 and a tranny pretty cheap.

Pretty sure a 383 or 440 would drop right in as well. Be a pretty fun car IMO

same chassis as the diplomat if i recall fuckers are tanks. those things had to be made in limited numbers so yeah parts would be a bitch but yeah you can toss a 440 in em readily

There is a guy in Roselle that has one with a 700+hp carbed BB in it. He just finished it this summer, painted it Cadillac pearl white. It looks damn good and can just blow the tires off at anytime since he is still rocking stock sized tires. lol

Damn, Total Sleeper.

I took a closer look this morning at the one forsale (didn't check the back badge for the model of it of course) but noticed it has a "Cross-Hair" Grill and a Pentastar/Chrysler badge in it. Can't find any pics on google of the same thing.

This car stopped production before the GN was even built IIRC.

hardest part was no one makes bbmopar headers for the Jbodies lol so those are custom made.
sounds like a fairly budget build too, looks good
