BTW Jason, I guess this ends the argument on whether HP or Torque wins races eh? The M3's 295 torque was able to beat the Boss from 0 to every single speed except for 110mph. How does a car with 295 torque beat a car with 380 torque on 0 to 30 and 0 to 60???

The fact that Ford had to make a "BOSS 302 Laguna Seca" just to beat an M3 around Laguna Seca is pathetic. If the 5.0 is dead nuts even with the M3 aroudn Laguna Seca, why does ford have to take a 5.0, turn it into a Boss, and then take that Boss and make it into a special edition just to beat your run of the mill M3???

OK, so you're taking a GT driven by a championship driver, and it still loses to the M3. BTW, the link you posted has an M3 with a manual transmission, the one in the EVO article is a DCT, big difference. I wonder what happened if BMW made a "Beat the shit out of FORD M3 edition". Oh wait, they already make one, it's called E92 M3.

No, the base Boss is faster than the M3 and the Laguna Seca even faster than the M3. They named it "Laguna Seca" after Parnelli Jone's win back there in 1970 noob.

And I don't give a fuck why they named it what they did, the car was built specifically to beat the M3 at Laguna Seca. Joke, considering they had to make a race car to do it.

Ford's GOAL was to beat the M3 at Laguna Seca and they did that with the standard Boss. They named the car after the historic race where Parnelli won the championship. The Boss isn't a race car. It's the equivalant of an M3 with the "competition package". Is the M3 CP a race car?

Also, a DCT matters for a novice. With a pro like Randy Probst, the DCT's advatange over a manual is probably nothing. A pro without driving aids is faster with them on.

Does any M3 come with R compound tires. Really Pflug, R COMPOUNDS?!?! LAUGHABLE BUDDY. Yeah, they beat the M3 at Laguna Seca with a Boss, with fuckin race tires. Are you actually surprised by that? If you want to race actual race cars, why don't they take the boss 302 vs the M3 GTS??? How does the competition compare to the Boss? The competition package on the M3 adds 0 hp, yet the Boss edition adds 25 hp, yet they are the same type of package? DCT matters only for a novice? Again, a moronic comment. The DCT also adds another gear, I know you don't understand the concept of gearing, but 1 more gear means more power to the ground, whether you're a pro driver or not.
