You only use the clutch to get moving. That looked like a Formula Continental which usually have a Hewland trans where you can clutchless shift. I watched my friend drive around Blackhawk in wet conditions like this a few months ago in his FC and I was nervous for him. This guy has some talent.

Similar to NASCAR gearboxes where the clutch is only used to get moving. Otherwise clutchless upshift/downshift.
