Tie Rod bad at 56,000 miles, anything I should know?

So my right front tie rod is bad, lots of wiggle side to side on the wheel. Looks to be the inner tie rod but I'm going to do the inner and the outer while I have it up there. (Parts aren't expensive).

Anything I need to know before I try this? I've never done them before. I know I need an alignment afterwards.

lol, my car isn't your past life's car. Only big problem I've had besides a left wheel bearing since I've owned it, and 14,000 miles later. I'll take it.

Change both sides for less hassle down the road. It's recommended for parts like those you switch out both sides rather than just one.

I've heard inners are a pain to remove. Outers are way easy.

Change them both; save up for hubs, they go between 60-75K miles.

there's a tool you can rent that makes removing and installing the inner tie rods way easier.

Newer Chrysler's I've seen with bad tie-rods and ball joints at 15-30k... Replace both and wait for the hubs to he play.

GBeen a long time since I did anything with suspension I wuould look for Moog or a brand that offers zirc fitting on the pieces so you grease them every oil change and extend their life. But I do recall the last time my buddy did some work on his truck even the Moogs did not have the zirc fittings.
