Input on 08+ Subaru Legacy's

well, after the EVO deal my buddy is interested in Legacy's.. and to be honest so am I.

What are the things to look for on them? Common problems, and how reliable are they?

hmm, well he looked and drove an '08 today w/30k on it and he said it drove good just didn't know what to look for. I'd go look but I'm busy.

no I'm being serious. 08+ subaru's went to water based paints and people are having huge problems with it. Like instead of rock chips it just flakes off in big chunks.



I think the 08's look nice and they're roomy/nice inside. I'm not a fan of the newest body style though. Too bland

I know, I know. Be he didn't need the evo anyway. The Legacy or a nice AWD is what he really wants. Personally I like the Legacy styling. He's not to big into wagons lol.

The base 2.5i is piss slow. Gt is the way to go. They're hard to find and even harder in a manual though
