So my buddies wife's solara had a bad rear hub and we're in the middle of replacing it. We removed the 4 bolts behind the stud wheel part and when we were trying to pull the hub out, the whole parking brake assembly came out with it as well. Problem is we aren't able to separate the hub from the parking brake assembly... There's no bolts holding it on, it's just STUCK.

Anyone have any advice how to separate the hub out?

TIA

basically separating 2 from 7....

sharp chesel at the interface of the two parts
yank the parking brake cable and take the whole shebang off and youll be able to attack the hub to backing plate interface from the other side

^^^This was required to get my rear hubs of my GTP. Just make sure to hammer the interface, not either of the parts, or it won't come off as well. Use the shape of the chisel to do the work.
