Now I have taken my fair share of window tint off cars in my time, but this one has me stumped. This stuff is so old that when I heat it up an soak it with ammonia it just pulls the black coating off. After the black coating comes off it leaves a plastic coating on the glass which I thought was just glue residue. Heating this plastic up and soaking it with ammonia isnt working, some spots start bubbling but it's so thin and brittle that it just falls apart when I try getting it off. I'm gonna try a wall paper steamer tomorrow any other suggestions? BTW I would just scrape the hell outta it with a razor but it's on the back window with the defrost lines.
