Rant: why is the second question everyone asks "how much did you pay for it?"

Drives me fucking nuts. Who cares how much I paid for my car. I should just say I got it for free from my parents every time. or it cost me 100,000 rupees.

I just don't get why that is an important feature of your car.

yes, this is half hearted rant, but I bet it pisses other people off too.

I think people don't necessarily know how much things costs and when that mostly defines if they could have something cool like that too, upon hearing the cost, they can quickly calculate if they could get one as well.

it came with a tri-turbo v-8 but I stuck a 3.8 in it anyway. v-8s SUCK!
