Okay so imma try to make this as cliffy as i can.
Driving the firebird after it been sitting since November. Yesterday (first day driving it since sitting) it had a slight sputtering problem like it wasn't getting fuel. CEL came on and it was i think 117, which is dirty injectors, according to autozone UTI student. Light went off and car didnt have any problems there after.
Tonight, about 1 hour ago, I pulled out of the intersection kinda fast cause blind cars around corner were going to hit me. Didn't get on it too hard, never went faster than 35. Check gauge light came on and I had zero oil pressure. Shut it immediately off and pulled over. Popped the hood to find that my serpentine belt was shredded like no other, had maybe 1/3 of belt still attached.
Now I know one of the pullies is whines a bit, don't know which one yet. Could the bad pully cause the belt to shred??
Also does the zero oil pressure have any relevance to the belt being fucked up?
Didn't check the oil cause I didnt have a rag plus I mindfucked when this all went down. I did look at the road to see if I blew out oil but nothing was there and it was too dark to see if oil was anywhere in the bay.
Ask any questions to help me diagnose the oil pressure, for that is my main concern right now plus the other shit.
