Got new rims!

Last Friday theeeeeese got delivered:

Machine Faced C5 Deep Dishes:
17x9.5 up front - 275s
18x10.5 in the rear - 285s (Thank you Grabber for the sweet deal on these)

IMO, they look so much better than my old Machine Faced C6 Motorsports (17x8.5s all around).

Cant wait to get them on the car... should be this week or next. But Ill be going back and forth between rims pending weather.

I traded my old C6s to my buddy Mike for a Futon haha. They were badly pitted and peeling and chipping and... ugh.. they were just terrible up close (they were my only rims for almost two winters so they just got abused). He's gonna see what he can do with them as far as polishing or blasting or whatever.

I should probably take a picture of the rear 18s. Much deeper lip.

Prices on 18in tires are like twice that of 17s and I already had a new pair of 275/40/17's sitting around. On LS1Tech OEWheelsLLC actually had a thread where they were trying get some 17x9.5/17x11 of the same rim I bought made.. but they didnt follow through with it, so I went ahead and got the 17x9.5/18x10.5 set from them instead.

Plus I love the staggered look.

Once I have the tires mounted to the actual rims, I can just go back and forth between my winter set and those, pending on the weather.

I leave for basic training for the Navy in less than 2 months... Im getting my god damn fill of these lol
