Clutch install on a FWD....

Do you have a garage? Do you have an afternoon?
Shit's easy man you can do it yourself.

When I installed the clutch on the civic with the motor out of the car, it was like a 30 min job

Then again... taking out the motor is only an hour job, so its probably a bit harder for the Cobalt...

You can drop the tranny and put everything back in in an afternoon with jackstands and basic hand tools- and a friend to help you guide the tranny back in place.....if you don't have any experience though- yeah, don't kill yourself trying!
Most difficult part is breaking the hub nut loose, pickle forking the tie rod, and removing an axle....after that it's all gravy.
