Is this disk on ebay? Dealer wanted almost $300 for the nav disk for a benz we used to have at work, found it on ebay for $65 shipped.

Id pay 150 for one.....for my car it is around 300 and the ones on ebay are clones and dont always work, as otehr jaguar members found out the hard way, be careful w those on ebay

Torrents. I torrented the 2010 disc for the Audi and it works great. GM discs should be pretty generic. I can't imagine someone out there hasn't already copied them.

I was gonna suggest this as well, but yeah if you end up having to pay for it I think it's worth it. Especially if it's outdated enough to not have 355 on it.

i got the latest update for my jeep from torrents too. had hacked firmware so i could set my destination while driving.

I have for my Pioneer unit and it was $100. I did not try to torrent this and I also had to go to Pioneers website after I received the disk, give them my unit hardware ID and a pass word that was in the package with the disk. Then the website gave me a product key that i had to type into my nav unit before it would update. Pioneer has that shit on lockdown and was worse then Microsoft lol.

I have not found the torrent for version 7... or 6... The newest is 5 which is circa 2009 I believe.

the gps is the only thing that doesnt work on jamies unit...well now the tv doesnt work but thats cause of the whole digital thing

Wait for 2011 maps to come out, and then get the 2010 disc, should drop in price, and the 2010 has 355 to 80

Anything past 2007 should have the 355 extension on it.

Nope, got my update in 08 and 355 extension was not on there. I was not happy. That is why I want the update. GM is SLOW.
