High Mileage Oil?

Whats the deal with this stuff? I was picked up some oil for my car and I noticed that there were oil noted for "High Mileage" vehicles. Yeah ive seen it before of course but I never really thought about it.

10w40 is close enough just a bit heavier on cold startup.

They make 5w40 in rotella synthetic.... i used it in the bonneville and it cleaned shit out like none other.

alot of high mileage oils contain seal swellers that "minimize" leaks

once you start using them you cant stop using them or the seals will shrink and leak even worse

I've been using high mileage oil since around 60,000 miles when I got it for free back in college while changing oil. Currently have 118,000 miles on the car and just developed a leak this year. Leaves about a drop a night.
