Black Chrome Paint, anyone?

Looking to get opinions from anyone who has seen or had any paint work done that is suppose to resemble black chrome. I know there are a few different options available to replicate black chrome.

Using real black chrome plating is out of the question.

The black chrome paint would simply be an accent color for a project I am working on.

Ehh, not so much. Black chrome just looked half-assed anytime I've seen a repli-paint attempt...probably better just going black. Same goes with chrome...although most chrome jobs look good until they dry...and you can never touch them because they rub right off. Even the powdercoats of black chrome don't look authentic to me.
