Default Another trade opportunity

an acquaintance of mine wants to trade me his 95 civic hatch with an H22A1 swap in it (93-96 prelude engine). solid billet mounts, full 2.5 in exhaust, lowered about 1.5 in., GSR leather seats. only real issue with it is that the ecu in it is chipped but its a non vtec ecu so vtec doesnt work, i can get another ecu for $150. trade would be a straight trade for my integra. if i wanted to i could easily sell this civic for 3k+ after i put the computer in, whereas i cant even get an offer for my teg when i want $2500 for it. any way onto the pics















its a little rice, the tailights and can would be gone asap

The civic is all beat up, god only knows what else it needs. h22 swap means no a/c ever and busted axles left and right. It's just not a good swap for a Civic. If it was a gsr motor or something i would tell you to be all over this car, but it's in such crappy shape it would cost you more $ to fix it up than it would be worth. You say you can sell for $3000 but you have to find a buyer for that to happen, buyers aren't like they used to be for swapped civics. If you do get it, swap that motor into a decent prelude shell (you can find one somewhere) swap in a d16z6 to the civic and re-sell for 1500 as a beat up winter car. Win. Civic's, preludes, etc, are the easiest cars to swap in the world, would take you no more than a weekend to do both cars, you would end up with a BETTER dd, and you would make all of your money back on re-selling the hatch.

OR you can not do the trade and keep your teggy.

hes already upgraded the axles, no ac doesnt really bother me that much, i dont have it in the pacer , i just want to be out from under this integra, i wish someone would buy it lol

You can upgrade the axles all you want, but the angle they're on makes them break, all the time. With the TQ (LOL tq....) of the h22 axles break a lot. You can be turning and decide to punch it and POP, there it goes. I had a JDM swapped 93 lude with intake, header, junk2 mani, etc. and it was just as fast as my friends h22 swapped hatch. The early ludes are light, this makes them the best candidate for the swap. IDK, do what you want man, but that Civic is beat to hell. You can just drive it til the car falls apart or keep your 94 teggy and call it a day.

btw on clist is one of the rare amc bellhousing th400's for cheep, just need a 2wd tailshaft and shortail tossed in it

you could probably double or tripple yer $ selling it to some amc nut, i have the older '72 amc/th400 setup that is a 2inch amc to sbc adaptor ring and flywheel spacer the integral amc bellhousing th400's are pretty hard to find and cherished by the jeep/amc crowd

theyre very hard to come by, and with parts for a a th400 fairly cheap, getting it rebuilt and flipping it wouldnt be hard at all
