Default Automated Clutch

There's a guy down here in Springfield, MO., who owns a shop, and somehow fucked up his left knee making it too difficult to continue driving stick. Well, that wasn't an option for him. He designed and rigged up an automated clutch system on his Saab that depresses and releases the clutch assembly by using CO2.

I don't know much about it, just found it on a thread on one of the local car forums. I definitely want to meet the guy and learn more about what he's doing. Here's the thread:

And the video link:

Also, if you follow the link to YouTube you'll notice that he has a bunch more videos of cars he's worked on/built/tuned/etc. There are some pretty monster cars around here. IE a Nova that made top HP on the Chevy Power Tour this year.

Well that's cool! I've always wondered what I would do if I broke my leg. I'll just give this guy a call

That is pretty sweet, doesn't sound like its clutch dropping at all or anything. My only question, where is the CO2 coming from, bottled source, or some sort of pump on the engine? Because, aw shit I just ran out of air.... Sweet nonetheless.
